Tuesdays, 9:30-10:30a.m.
Sackler Lecture Theatre, Level 7, Wellcome Trust/MRC Building (The "Titanic")
Hills Road, Cambridge (Addenbrooke's Hospital Site)

This is an informal series of lectures, open to staff and students from CIMR, the Clinical School, MRC (Dunn and LMB) and Biochemistry. The lectures will run most Tuesdays. If the series is popular, it will be run again two years from now.

The first few lectures in the series will present an overview of the basic concepts, aimed at people who want to learn something about crystallography, whether or not they intend to get involved in structure determination. This will be filled out in greater depth and rigour in the later lectures, aimed primarily at people who are (or will be) directly involved in structure determination.

Eventually, most of the topics should be linked to web documents giving lecture notes and pointers to additional resources. If you are aware of a relevant Web page, and I haven't provided a link, please drop me an e-mail and let me know! Also, please let me know if your browser has difficulty coping with any of the content, so I can try to make it as accessible as possible.

Building access: If you hold an Addenbrooke's picture ID, simply present that at Reception in the main entrance, and you should have no difficulty getting in. If not, tell the people at Reception that you are here to attend the crystallography lecture in the Sackler Theatre, and you should be able to sign in.
